My backrground is environmental and ocean research. I obtained a PhD in Environmental Science at the university of Paris in 2009 and am currently employed as scientist in the research institute for marine science, GEOMAR, Kiel.

In complement to my fundamental research work, I would be interested in applying and transferring my knowledge in climate and numerical tools to applied problems. More particularly I think that the direct impact of the already occurring climate change (e.g occurence of heat waves) on everyday life and businesses need to be better quantified in order to better define adaptation strategies at businesses, local and regional level.
